The Smart Grids and Energy Management research group aims to develop innovative solutions to the complex problems encountered in the operation of electrical power systems, taking into account the perspectives of various stakeholders. These innovative solutions incorporate artificial intelligence and optimization-based decision-making mechanisms, while also addressing planning tools for generation, as well as transmission, distribution, and consumption centers in collaboration with techno-economic stakeholders. Last but certainly not least, this research group’s scope of activity includes multi-energy solutions that encompass the seamless operation of infrastructure for various energy types.
