Graduation Application

The e-Application dates for the Spring 2025–2026 Semester Graduation Procedures are listed in the table below:

February 23 – June 29, 2026*

*Online applications open at 8:00 a.m. on the first day and close at 12:00 p.m. on the last day. Within 5 business days of submitting your application, your publication will be reviewed and approval of the publication requirement will be granted. 

(Note: If you have not received approval within 5 business days of the application deadline, please contact our institute at tet@yildiz.edu.tr)

 

NOTE-1: E-applications are accepted only during the dates specified in our Graduation Calendar.

NOTE-2: Transitional Provisions

TRANSITIONAL ARTICLE 1 – (3) Students are subject to the Senate regulations in effect during the semester in which they enrolled regarding graduation publication requirements.

Publication Requirements

Master’s Degree

A student who has completed their thesis must meet at least one of the following requirements:

An article co-authored with the thesis advisor and derived from the thesis;

  • an article published or accepted for publication in YTÜ journals;

  • At least one article published or accepted for publication in national or international peer-reviewed journals.

  • An approved patent, utility model, or industrial design certificate.

  • A paper presented as an oral or poster presentation at national or international peer-reviewed conferences.

Doctoral and Integrated Doctoral Programs

A student who has completed their thesis must meet all of the following requirements:

A paper produced in collaboration with the thesis advisor;

  • A paper that has been presented orally at national or international peer-reviewed conferences and published in the conference proceedings, or an accepted patent, utility model, or industrial design certificate, or ownership of a company established in Technology Development Zones (TGB).

  • For the Basic Fields of Engineering, Natural Sciences, and Mathematics: Have published an article in journals indexed in the Q1 quartile of SCOPUS or in journals covered by SCI, SCI-E, SSCI, or AHCI;
