Under the umbrella of the Union of Technical Universities (TU12), a total of 19 joint elective courses to be conducted online have been proposed for the Spring Semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, open to graduate students at all technical universities.
Twelve of the proposed courses will be offered in Turkish, and seven in English. The relevant institutes will oversee the implementation of these courses.
In this context, the courses listed in the table below—which include the course language, code, title, enrollment capacity, and the university offering the course—may be selected subject to the approval of the academic advisor and the department, as well as a decision by the relevant Institute’s Board of Directors.
Courses will be conducted in accordance with the academic calendars of the universities offering them. Students are required to comply with the regulations of the university or institute where the course is offered and where they are enrolled.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
1. Google Form Application
Students must complete the Google Form via the link below to select their courses.

Before selecting a course, you must consult with your academic advisor and complete the form in accordance with your advisor’s approval. Selecting a course via the Google Form does not complete the application process. If the number of applications exceeds the available spots, students will be admitted to the course based on the quotas set for each university.
2. Application Letter
After completing the Google Form, you must fill out the application letter template. Click here for the application letter template.
The application form must be signed by the student, the academic advisor, and the Department Chair.
3. Submission via the Department’s EBYS System
The signed application form will be submitted by the student to the Department, and the Department will forward it to the Institute of Natural Sciences via EBYS in the form of an official letter.
4. Institute Executive Board (EYK) Evaluation
Applications will be evaluated by the Institute Administrative Board (EYK) in the order they are received, subject to available quotas. Students deemed eligible by the EYK decision will be granted the right to take the course.
5. Course Conduct and Communication
Students accepted into the courses following EYK approval may contact the course instructor directly regarding any technical or academic issues that may arise during the online delivery of the courses.
6. Other Matters:
The joint graduate elective courses offered will be conducted online. The platform on which the courses will be held will be determined by the instructor and shared with enrolled students.
Prior to the start of the courses, student information listed in the Google Forms will be shared with the instructors. All communication during the courses will be conducted via the email addresses provided in Google Forms.
Therefore, the email addresses entered in the Google Form must be current and actively used.
Important Notes
- Completing the Google Form does not, by itself, constitute course registration.
- Course registration procedures will be finalized following the decision of the Faculty Council.
- Students are required to follow announcements from the Institute of Natural Sciences and their respective departments throughout the process.
- The email addresses provided in the Google Form must be current and active.
