Workshop on Graduate Schools (TU12) Held
The 3rd Workshop on Graduate Schools, organized as part of the TU12 initiative, was held on April 22, 2026, at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center on the Ayazağa Campus of Istanbul Technical University.
The workshop, which brought together the directors of the 12 universities and high-tech institutes that are members of TU12, addressed the topics of expanding the shared graduate education ecosystem, graduate education in the age of artificial intelligence, and transformation in doctoral education (industrial doctorates and modular graduate models).

Participation in the TAÜ Energy Summit
Our Institute Director, Prof. Dr. Aysel Kantürk Figen, participated in the Energy Summit organized by the TAÜ Energy Club with a presentation titled “Hydrogen Technologies from a Sustainability Perspective,” sharing insights on the clean energy transition and hydrogen’s critical role in our future with aspiring young engineers.
"Let's Charge Our World" Summit II
At the “Let’s Charge Our World Summit II,” where our Rector, Prof. Dr. Eyüp Debik, also addressed the audience with an emphasis on academia-industry collaborations, Prof. Dr. Ozan Erdinç, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Rıfat Boynueğri, and Dr. Tayfur Gökçek from our Institute participated by delivering presentations focused on e-mobility, charging infrastructure, and innovative solutions.
Participation in the Turkey Hydrogen Action Plan Workshop
Our Institute Director, Prof. Dr. Aysel KANTÜRK FİGEN, participated in the Turkey Hydrogen Action Plan Workshop held on October 24, 2025.
During the workshop, group discussions were held on thematic areas such as legislation and regulation, financing and incentives, hydrogen production and consumption processes, infrastructure, R&D, workforce, and public participation, yielding valuable outcomes that will guide the action plan.
