- HOW TO APPLY
Log in to the e-enstitü.yildiz.edu.tr system using your username and password, then click the “Application” tab under the “Qualification Procedures” menu to submit your application online.
- WHAT TO DO IF YOU ENCOUNTER A SYSTEM ERROR DURING APPLICATION
In accordance with Article 19 of the Senate Regulations, students who have fulfilled their course requirements but encounter an error while applying through the e-enstitu.yildiz.edu.tr system may take a screenshot and send it via email to tet@yildiz.edu.tr.
- APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
In accordance with the Implementation Procedures and Principles of the YTÜ Graduate Education and Teaching Regulations, the following course completion requirements must be met in order to apply for the doctoral qualifying exam.
- For students admitted to a thesis-based master’s program: The program consists of at least 7 (seven) courses, a seminar course, and courses in Research Methods and Scientific Ethics, totaling no fewer than 21 (twenty-one) credits.
- For students admitted to a thesis-based master’s degree program: Of the 7 (seven) courses—excluding the Research Methods and Scientific Ethics and Seminar courses, which must be taken within the first 4 semesters of graduate study—at least 4 (four) must be courses included in the curriculum of the student’s department.
- A maximum of 3 (three) graduate-level courses offered by other departments or other higher education institutions may be counted toward the total course load the student is required to complete during their graduate studies.
Students who do not meet the above conditions must not apply for qualification and must complete their missing courses within the timeframe specified in the regulations. (Students who fail to complete their missing courses within the timeframe specified in the regulations will have their registration canceled.) Applications for qualification submitted by students who do not meet the relevant requirements will be deemed invalid!
