An Erasmus+ Youth Participation Activity organized by Kastamonu University (KA154-YOU), our University—which specializes in Forestry and Nature Tourism—will lead a series of educational sessions, scientific field trips, workshops, exhibitions, seminars, and various other activities aimed at raising climate change awareness among undergraduate and graduate students.
As part of the “Climate Vision: Policies for the Future” project, the aim is to enhance the knowledge of young people currently enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs by addressing the topic of climate change in its various dimensions through interactive activities. In this way, participants will gain an awareness of protecting nature and living in harmony with it, shift from environmental consumption to environmentally conscious production, develop public policies alongside expert trainers, and be inspired to take an active role in local, national, or international environmental initiatives through their environmental awareness and curiosity.
For the in-person training sessions, the project will cover participants’ travel, lodging, and meal expenses, and participants will receive a YouthPass certificate. To apply, please complete the online application forms available on the websites listed below by the specified deadlines.
