Since 2014, the TÜBİTAK Science and Society Directorate has been organizing TÜBİTAK Science Talks to bring together scientists working at universities in Turkey with elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as all citizens who closely follow scientific developments, with the aim of increasing the audience’s interest in science and promoting science communication, to create the necessary foundation for scientists to serve as role models for students in career planning, and to strengthen the bond between society and the scientific community.
In this context, the 2024 TÜBİTAK Science Talks Rulebook, prepared under the Directorate of Support Programs within TÜBİTAK’s Presidency of Science and Society, has been published. Applications will be accepted through the website bilimtoplum-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr until 5:30 p.m. on January 17, 2025.
The target audience for this process consists of faculty members, lecturers who have completed their doctorates, and research assistants currently engaged in academic work.
