Regarding the 2024–2025 Spring Semester Course Registration Dates, the OBS Course Selection Guide, and Requests for Courses Outside the Curriculum

Dear students,

You can access the OBS system course selection guide below.

If you wish to take courses offered by other institutes outside the Advanced Energy Technologies Department curriculum, you must fill out the application form below and submit it to tet@yildiz.edu.tr by February 21, 2025.

When filling out the application form, please be sure to include the name and code of the course you wish to take, as well as the institute offering it. You may sign the form electronically and submit it in PDF format. You will be notified of the outcome via email.

If there are students enrolled in other departments who wish to take a course from the Advanced Energy Technologies Department’s curriculum, you must submit a written request to your department’s office. Your department will forward your request to the relevant institute. You can obtain detailed information from your affiliated Institute and Department. For example, if you are a student in the Thesis-Based Master’s Program in Mechanical Engineering, you must submit your petition to the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Your department will forward your petition to the Institute of Natural Sciences.

Note: A maximum of 3 courses may be selected from courses outside the Advanced Energy Technologies ABD Program curriculum.

Note: For matters related to tuition fees, please visit the Directorate of Health, Culture, and Sports website and contact them. Students who have not paid their tuition fees by the payment deadline will not be able to select courses or avail themselves of their student rights (For example, they will not be able to submit a thesis progress report, obtain a student ID, or request a leave of absence or enrollment freeze, even with a valid excuse, etc.).

We wish you a successful academic term.
